9 May / The recruitment process for the next edition of the startup acceleration program, organized by MIT Enterprise Forum CEE, is now open! Startups from all around the world have time until June 30th to apply, and selected international startups will also be able to acquire funding via the Poland Prize. Successful applications will be invited into the Autumn edition of the program, where they can benefit from a unique opportunity to not only gain knowledge and first-hand mentorship but also new contacts and chances for further development with larger and established companies.

The MIT Enterprise Forum CEE Accelerator Program is designed to help technology-focused startups.

The world is constantly facing new challenges, and so we look to startups and new innovators to provide the next wave of impactful solutions. While we look primarily to Central and Eastern Europe, we also look to the wider world; just as global challenges can come from anywhere, so too can the next innovation. We aim to take young and promising companies from these markets and give them the knowledge, skills and opportunities to succeed” said Łukasz Owczarek, Head of Growth at MIT EF CEE

Specifically, the Acceleration Program is open to companies with impactful and innovative solutions in any of the following areas: retail & autonomous stores, foodtech & agritech, enterprise software, fintech & insurtech, sustainability, smart cities, industry 4.0, martech, big data and health.

Startups chosen for the 6-month long program will participate in 4 weeks of workshops, gaining direct knowledge from over 100 international mentors, each experienced in their own field. This will be combined with peer-to-peer mentoring to help successful applicants in developing their businesses in Europe. This includes the opportunity for pilot programs within our partners’ companies.

Selected international startups can also receive grants of up to 10,000 EUR for soft landings and EUR 50,000 for product developments and PoC with our corporate partners.

This season, program partners include Adamed, MCX, Bank Pekao SA, PZU SA, Rossman, Saint Gobain, Unimot and Żabka.

Additionally, foreign startups from outside of Poland also have the opportunity to receive up to EUR 60,000 in non-equity funding under the Poland Prize by MIT EF CEE.

MIT EF CEE’s accelerator program has helped more than 200 companies, with previous participants including Telemedico, Hashiona, Genomtec, Zowie, StethoMe, Lerta, Plantalux, WorkAI, PlanetHeroes and Symmetrical AI.

All applications must be submitted by June 30th, 2022, here. Selected startups will be announced later in the year.

The Poland Prize by MIT EF CEE is implemented under Measure 2.5 of the Intelligent Development Operational Program financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
